PR work, internal corporate communications, marketing presence and corporate identity – at Corporate Communications we are at home in a multifaceted media landscape. From social networking via the internet and the intranet to newspaper articles, presentations and discussions – we use various channels to spread our message. We have a huge responsibility in this: not only do we want to create a positive and authentic corporate image, but we also want to protect our corporate reputation and brand. It is our goal to create a strong connection between BRITA and the general public and to leave behind a long-lasting good impression.
Corporate & Digital Development
The corporate strategy for the coming years, the digitalisation of the company and the development of new marketing channels – these are our absolute highlights. We analyse the markets and business fields on an intensive basis, develop innovative portfolio and expansion strategies and rigorously check digital business models. We are not isolated, but closely networked within the company or directly at the pulse of the markets as trend scouts. We’re always on the ball and completely committed to helping to shape the future of BRITA.
Finance & Controlling
Checking and ticking off invoices, reducing numbers to a common denominator, rocking the annual accounts and getting on top of the audit – of course all of that is part of our job in Finance & Controlling. But we’re so much more than that! Our controllers are the clever business guides of the company. We ensure that it is running on a profitable basis, that we are smart when it comes to dealing with costs and make sure that we are leading the company in a future-oriented direction. And in Accounting we rely fully on digital power! Our employees can process expenses, invoices and travel bookings easily online. We make it as easy as possible for them. Because we want to be efficient and up-to-date, in order to lead the company into the right future on a financially secure basis.
Treasury & Risk Management
In a globally expanding and successful company, the steering, planning and monitoring of payment streams plays a decisive role. Our Group Treasury Team handles numerous exciting tasks. These include asset management, the monthly reports and operative risk management with a particular focus on the hedging of foreign currencies. In addition, we take care of insurance companies, various banks and investment partners. As the group parent company, supporting the family holding is also part of our task portfolio.
Human Resources
Recruiting talents and keeping them enthusiastic over the long term, facilitating lifelong learning and caring for well-being – these are the central tasks of HR when it comes to our more than 2,000 employees worldwide. In the area of Human Resources at BRITA we are concerned with far more than mere administration and payroll accounting (although we also excel at it and enjoy it too 😉).
We see ourselves as a tightly-knit and well-connected partner of the company, supporting our employees and managers directly, so that they can deliver top performance on a daily basis and drive our growth forward. This involves close collaboration and structuring future work together so that we can achieve optimal performance.
Information Technology
Cybersecurity, IoT projects, mobile devices, intranet, business applications or the IT infrastructure – all these systems and services are essential for the smooth functioning of our daily work at BRITA. We ensure that they function reliably 24/7 throughout the world. But IT at BRITA is far more than this: we are the driving force for change and your partner for the implementation of digital solutions in all specialist areas. Whether it is a question of the SAP Success Factors Suite or the new eCommerce solutions, we are constantly available for the teams and always by your side to support you in implementation.
Intellectual Property Rights
Patents, designs, brand rights and web domains – as experts in intellectual property rights we ensure that our intellectual property is protected worldwide. We are closely connected with the company and the markets and work hard to ensure that any infringements of competition law and instances of plagiarism are quickly uncovered. But our task is more than just protection: we also actively support the expansion of our business fields, for example through drafting cooperations or with our specialist knowledge in the publication of patents. With us it is a question of maximising the value of our intellectual property and driving the company forward.
Real Estate
Whether it’s a company restaurant, the vehicle pool or property management, environmentally-friendly energy supplies or sustainable waste management – with us no two days are the same. As the Real Estate Team we are the valued and skilled partner who is always there in the background ensuring that you, as BRITA employees, have an efficient and pleasant working environment. From the planning and the construction of new administration buildings to the ongoing maintenance and modernisation of the infrastructure in place, we take care of everything so that our employees can concentrate fully on their tasks.
