Application tips - how to impress at first glance

We want your application to stand out. That's why we've put together some helpful tips for you.

The cover letter - your personal calling card
Your cover letter is your opportunity to introduce yourself briefly, clearly and authentically. This is important: Don't just repeat your CV, tell us what motivates you and what makes you special. Put yourself in our shoes: would you invite yourself to a job interview?

The following questions will help you formulate your question:

  • What attracts you to the advertised position?
  • What are your qualifications and strengths?
  • What makes you different from others?
  • Why FILLTECH - and what do you expect from us?

The CV - compact and clear
Your CV shows us what you have done so far - in a clear and structured way. This works best with a tabular structure. Our tips:

  • Start with your current job and work backwards
  • Provide a few concise key points for each position
  • Two pages are usually sufficient
  • Use an easy-to-read font and keep the layout clear
  • Ensure a standardized format and clear structure

Checklist - before you click 'Send'
It's worth taking one last look at your application - small mistakes can sometimes seem unprofessional. Here is our checklist for the final touches:

  • Spelling: Re-read it thoroughly - or ask someone close to you to take a quick look. Four eyes see more!
  • Completeness: Are your CV, covering letter and references (if any) complete? Are they all in the right file format and easy to read?
  • Order: Have you organized your documents logically and neatly?
  • Design: Consistent fonts, font sizes and line spacing ensure a professional look and feel.

Everything checked? Then nothing stands in the way of your application - we look forward to hearing from you!
